This aluminum catamaran was constructed to USCG Subcharter T standars for use on both near coastal and ocean routes. The R/V BlueManta is Bluetide’s first twin-engine vessel for marine work, research, education, innovation and habitat restoration based out of Puerto Rico. For the operator, the most valuable feature of the vessel is the excellent fuel economy, this design will hold up to 8 live-aboard in 3 separate bunk rooms, including crew. Onboard the vessel, passengers and crew have ample space and comfort in live-aboard quarters, wet and dry labs, as well as a range of the latest oceanographic equipment to conduct survey operations.
